The region’s planners and emergency management professionals have been working to identify the region’s likely hazards, assess the impact of them and determine what can be done to reduce or eliminate the risk they pose to people and property and compile a plan for the New River Valley to implement policies, programs and projects that will build its resilience to disasters.
Your contribution is valuable to the process, so please continue to participate in the process in the ways that best fit your availability. Input from all participants will contribute to the success of the planning process and build partnerships for future success.
The survey below will take about 15-20 minutes to complete 8 questions. Your invitation to participate in the working group includes a link to the two idea boards which will require an account for responses (this only takes a few moments to setup), particularly if you wish to expand on your responses to questions 5 and 6. Others participating in this virtual working group won't be able to see your survey responses. However, the idea boards serve as a more collaborative space to contribute suggestions and responses visible to other registered participants.
